Tembo Gold Hires Exploration Manager for Tembo Gold Project

Tembo Gold Corp. (TSX VENTURE:TEM)(FRANKFURT:T23) ("Tembo" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that Peter Haworth, a highly experienced exploration and mining geologist with considerable African exploration and project management experience, has been appointed as Exploration Manager. Peter will be based in Tanzania where Tembo is undertaking an extensive Phase 1, 90,000 meter drilling program on the Tembo Gold Project. Peter has a BSc (Engineering) (Mining Geology) from University of the Witwatersrand and a Master of Business Leadership from the University of South Africa, and boasts a Mine Managers Certificate of Competency in South Africa. In addition to broad geological experience in a number of commodities, Peter, most importantly, spent nine years in the Barberton Mountain Land of South Africa, host to greenstone gold mineralization and with a long history of operating mines. Following that, for two years Peter was exploration manager West Africa for Avgold Limited, managing gold exploration programs in Burkina Faso, Ghana and Senegal. Most recently Peter was with Metorex Ltd and managed large exploration drilling programs in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and has gained extensive experience in both RC and diamond drilling.
