President, Chief Executive Officer and Director
David has over 30 years of African exploration and mining experience with 15 years in Tanzania, where he currently resides. Prior to Tembo Gold, he was Technical Director for AIM listed Shanta Gold and participated in two feasibility studies, one of which has become the New Luika Gold Mine in southern Tanzania. David was Technical Services Manager for Barrick Gold's subsidiary Kahama Mining Corporation from mine construction start-up, through commissioning to steady state production and managed all underground mine design, geology and survey responsibilities including the Bulyanhulu on-mine exploration activities. Throughout his career David has worked in Africa and for more than 25 years of his career in greenstone gold geology for both large and small companies as an exploration and mine geologist, and in a number of senior management positions in both. David holds a BSc, Geology from the University of the Witwatersrand as well an M.Sc., and is a registered Professional Natural Scientist (Pr. Sci. Nat.).

Vice-president Business Development and Director
Mr. Cernovitch studied Economics at McGill University. He started his career in the financial sector as a stockbroker and has lived and worked in Montreal, Calgary, Vancouver, New York and Toronto. Since leaving the brokerage industry, Marc has focused on corporate development, funding and building companies primarily in the resource and energy technology fields. He has a strong background in corporate governance and finance.

Mr. Hoegel currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Peter Beck Performance Fonds GbR, and sits on the advisory board of Concept Capital Management, an Asset Management Company focused on evaluating and investing in Canadian resource companies through equity investments, convertible bonds and gold, silver, and copper off-take agreements. Mr. Hoegel completed his degree in Master of Business Administration (FH) with a focus on Financial Management, Banking and International Business & Management from the University of NĂ¼rtingen, Germany.
