President, Chief Executive Officer and Director
David has over 30 years of African exploration and mining experience with 15 years in Tanzania, where he currently resides. Prior to Tembo Gold, he was Technical Director for AIM listed Shanta Gold and participated in two feasibility studies, one of which has become the New Luika Gold Mine in southern Tanzania. David was Technical Services Manager for Barrick Gold's subsidiary Kahama Mining Corporation from mine construction start-up, through commissioning to steady state production and managed all underground mine design, geology and survey responsibilities including the Bulyanhulu on-mine exploration activities. Throughout his career David has worked in Africa and for more than 25 years of his career in greenstone gold geology for both large and small companies as an exploration and mine geologist, and in a number of senior management positions in both. David holds a BSc, Geology from the University of the Witwatersrand as well an M.Sc., and is a registered Professional Natural Scientist (Pr. Sci. Nat.).
CFO & Director
Mr. Seaman currently serves as CEO & Chairman of QRS Capital Corp. and CFO and Director of Tembo Gold Corp. Mr. Seaman served as CFO of Premier Gold Mines Limited, a mineral exploration company, from August 2006 until July 2012 and as Chief Financial Officer of Pediment Gold Corp., a mining exploration company, from April 2007 until February 2011. Additionally, Mr. Seaman served as the Chief Financial Officer of Wolfden Resources Inc. Mr. Seaman serves as an independent director of several TSX Venture Exchange and Toronto Stock Exchange listed companies. Mr. Seaman received a Bachelor of education degree from Lakehead University in April 1993 and a Bachelor of Science degree in April 1990.
Mr. Anthony is the former Chief Operating Officer of African Barrick Gold and a member of the executive team that took ABG public. Mr. Anthony spent 10 years working in Africa. He was responsible for design, construction and operation of 3 of 4 world-class Barrick operations in Tanzania (Bulyanhulu, Buzwagi, Tulawaka). Mr. Anthony has held multiple senior positions with gold and base metal mining companies including Barrick, Kinross, Cominco, Hudson Bay M&S, Royal Oak Mines and Cliffs Natural Resources.
Vice-president Business Development and Director
Mr. Cernovitch studied Economics at McGill University. He started his career in the financial sector as a stockbroker and has lived and worked in Montreal, Calgary, Vancouver, New York and Toronto. Since leaving the brokerage industry, Marc has focused on corporate development, funding and building companies primarily in the resource and energy technology fields. He has a strong background in corporate governance and finance.
Mr. Taylor is the President of Valour Consulting Corp. which services the junior resource industry with focus on corporate development and management. He was appointed Vice President of Westcore Energy Ltd. and Bacanora Minerals Ltd., in March 2011. From March 2010 to March 2011 he was employed with BEC International Corp. as a fulltime consultant. From December 2005 to March 2010 he served as a commissioned officer and pilot in the Canadian Forces.
